Every now and then a kind customer will ask if I’m going to remake one of my older designs in mesh. Well, I usually find it more fun to work on new designs, but I made an exception with the Stonehurst Redux. This is an original mesh design, and a remake in large part of the original prim build first marketed in 2007. However, this version has a staircase instead of teleporters and thanks to the beauty of building in mesh – it has a lower prim LI too!
This contemporary mesh home is a mix of warm tones found throughout and is composed of wood, stone, and glass. The large cased glass openings provide for excellent views in each direction and are tintable for privacy.
The two-story home offers an open floor plan on each level with plenty of room to divide spaces for various uses.
For example, the lower level can easily accommodate a living and dining area.
The upper area could easily accommodate a sleeping area and a reading nook, as one example.
The house control system offers menu controlled:
❖ Security – Allows the owner to add avatars to one of two classes of users: 1) Those who have access to the house controls and land parcel; and 2) Those who are permitted access to the land parcel, but will not have the ability to control house features;
❖ Lockable Doors;
❖ Windows with privacy features (This model will allow you to tint windows;)
❖ Media controls for radio and tv (you provide the URL’s) and the ability for you to store your favorite media URL’s in the house system for continued use;
❖ A teleport feature which allows you to store SLURL’s to your favorite SL destinations and teleport to them by using the house control system; and a
❖ Customizable security system;
The home rezzes using a reliable rezz system – instructions included.
