Galland Homes’ Release – The Naples Mediterranean Mesh House. September 27, 2014

Second Life Mesh Beach Homes

Galland Homes is pleased to release the Naples, a Mediterranean mesh beach house.

The Naples draws inspiration from various Mediterranean styles, most notably Spanish and Italianate architecture. The front facade was designed to with the intention to blend these two classical styles. The home incorporates popular elements of more modern Mediterranean design as well, the use of french doors and large glass windows throughout as an example.

Warmth, elegance, luxury – the Naples was designed for the beach front property of those desiring a distinctly Mediterranean feel. Neutral, but warm tones are found throughout and the home is ready for your decorators eye to include appropriate splashes of color throughout.

The mesh beach includes two bedrooms, a large living room, den with mesh judge’s paneling, and walk around lanais. The lanais are spacious and bordered by mesh balustrades and railings. The Master features two exits to the upper lanai as well as a tray ceiling bordered by crown molding.

The house is constructed of mesh and textured to appear as if built of a stone foundation, stucco, tile and wood floors, and neutral colored plaster walls and ceilings.

This home is 100% mesh and designed in a modular fashion to allow for relatively easy modification of textures. As with texturing any item in Second Life, some building knowledge is helpful.
